The birth of Spring is beautifully displayed each year when the daffodils are in bloom. Open to the public free of charge, from 10 A.M. to 4 P. M., seven days a week during blooming season. Located 6 miles south of Gladewater, and about 6 miles north of I-20 (Hwy 271 exit), just off of CR 3104. For more detailed information and directions call 903/845-5501. Enjoy a variety of events revolving around the nostalgia of the Oil Boom Days! A Golf Tournament (April 19), Kick-Off Luncheon and Street Dance (April 20), Heritage Parade, Bass Tournament, Chili Cook-off, Antique Car Show, Hip Hop Amusements, Brownie Bowl Lick-Off, live musical entertainment, arts & crafts, food concessions and commercial area. Gladewater Round-Up Rodeo (70th Annual)
Since 1937, Gladewater has featured one of the best known, nationally sanctioned PRCA rodeos in America—featuring a lavish parade and chuck wagon cook-off, street dance (June 2), Cowboy Prayer Breakfast (June 3), and 4 days of old-west style, bronco-busting rodeo.
