reveal other wildlife like foxes, raccoons, armadillos and
even a rare glimpse at a bald eagle.

cabins available. All cabins are fully furnished and include
televisions, VCRs, central heat and air, and most have washers
and dryers. The cabins also have well-equipped kitchens where
a cup of cocoa or a pot of soup can be easily prepared. For
guests interested in building and cozying up next to a fire,
cabins with fireplaces are also available.
Deer Lake

due to the close proximity of so many of the area lakes which
offer lots of recreational activities in lakes like Cypress
Springs, Bob Sandlin and Lake Fork. Of course, during the
winter recreational activities are limited, but fishing swings

from two of the best winter fishing lakes in Texas, Lake Monticello
and Lake Welsh. Both lakes are power plant lakes, which means
the water stays warm through out the winter making for excellent
fishing, particularly for bass.
